The Centre for Crocodile Research has been at the forefront of validating methodology to quantify stress levels in crocodilians. Being able to definitively prove that your animals are “not stressed” is a powerful tool when faced with accusations of an adversary. We can provide you the evidence you require. Using established ELISA methodology, stress levels can be reported from plasma/serum or from feces. Although fecal samples are more expensive to process, they are preferred as sample collection is non-invasive (no needles!).
